Frequently asked questions

What inspired you to create BioCore and focus on AI-driven health insights?

BioCore was created with the goal of making Emergency Departments more efficient. The vision includes long-term care homes using the program for resident check-ins, helping staff easily gauge patient health.

In what ways does BioCore's AI response system stand out from other health information platforms?

BioCore is aimed towards helping the general public. With an application on their phone, a patient could find out for themselves whether or not they should make the trip and expense to the hospital.

What specific health challenges or needs does BioCore aim to address for its users?

The goal of BioCore is to improve efficiency in the emergency department. This program would replace the current Triage system. Having this system would ideally take away some of the stress on the medical staff, helping determine the urgency of a patient and make everything more organized.

What are your future goals for BioCore, and how do you envision it evolving to better serve its users?

In the future, the vision is for the elder population to have an app that would weekly check their physical and mental status to ensure a higher quality of care. Anyone would be able to have the application on their phone in case of a question on their personal health. BioCore ideally will be connected to a charting system connecting the patient to the app to allow the AI system to personalize to the user.

Meet our Team

Hi, my name is Michael Pittenger. I am the founder and developer of BioCoreAI. I am currently a Health Care Administration major at The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. I work as a CNA at Mayo Clinic which led to my inspiration of this idea. Often times I had found myself wondering how we could improve health care. This idea was floated out to different medical staff throughout the hospital with different types of units. I got a lot of good feedback so I have begun to learn and grow my knowledge to see what I can bring to the table.
